Kurdistan region 'Iraq',— The Syrian National
Council SNC and Syrian Kurdish National Council KNC
have signed a four-point agreement, which includes a
section on power sharing after the fall of President
Basher Assad's regime.
In a meeting on Saturday both councils discussed the
current Syrian situation and life after the regime.
The Kurdish Council was head by head of the
council’s foreign relations Bashar al-Hakeem and the
Syrian Council was headed by Abdul Basit Saeda.
But the Kurdish National Council is still concerned
about the Syrian National Council recognizing the
rights of Kurds in the country, mentioned the
anonymous source.
Kurdistan Democratic Union politburo member Mahmoud
Mohammed confirmed that one of the crucial points is
ruling Syria together after the collapse of Assad's
regime.
Kurds in Syria have land and language and they
deserve a better life, added the member.
Abdul-Basit Sayda, the Kurdish chairman of the
Syrian National Council (SNC)
arrived in the Kurdistan Region on Aug.1 for
meeting with Kurdistan's President Massoud Barzani,www.ekurd.net
Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmed Davutoglu and members
of the Kurdish National Council of Syria (KNCS) over
the Syrian crisis.
Syria is home to nearly 3 million Kurds, and Sayda
himself is an ethnic Kurd.
