Jalal Talabani is in Germany for almost
two months where he had a surgery

BERLIN/SULAIMANIYAH, — Iraqi President Jalal
Talabani will return home soon and first meet with
Kurdistan President Massoud Barzani and Kurdistan
political leaders, said spokesperson for Patriotic
Union of Kurdistan (PUK)' politburo, AK news website
reported.
Talabani, 79 years of age (who is also PUK general
secretary) is waiting for the reply of his
physicians in Germany but as he has reached the
final stages of recovering he will return home in a
near future, said Azad Jundiyani.
It's almost two months that Talabani is in Germany
where he had a surgery on his left knee.
Talabani has undergone a successful surgery on his
knee and he is in good condition, a well informed
source informed PUK media on June 20.
Talabani,
arrived in
Germany on June 17 and Several medical checkups were
carried out for him according to a medical schedule.
Talabani suffers from
serious heart problems, vision complications and
extreme knee pains. He is not expected to
recuperate that fast,www.ekurd.net

president's party as saying.
Jundiyani said that after meeting with Barzani and
Kurdistan politicians, Talabani will confer with the
Iraqi leaders for settling the political crisis in
the country.
The official added all the parties on their own are
preparing for a national conference which Talabani
called for before he traveled to Germany. The
conference also aims at sorting out the current
tensions among the major political parties.
In his Saturday speech for congratulating the Edi
al-Fitr, Talabani once more invited all the parties
to convene for the national conference.
