Dr. Ghassemlou’s assassination will be
commemorated in the US Capital Region

In commemoration of the 23rd anniversary of the
assassination of Dr. Abdulrahman Ghassemlou, then
the General Secretary of Democratic Party of Iranian
Kurdistan by the agents of the Islamic Republic of
Iran in Vienna, Austria in 1989, Leadership Council
for Human Rights, the Kurdish Center for Cultural
and Contemporary Studies, ( KurdCenter ) and United
Kurdish Youth for Human Rights will convene a
presentation titled:
The Islamic Republic of
Iran: a proven Sponsor of Terrorism.
Featured Speakers:
Professor Ivan Sascha Sheehan; The school of Public
and International Affairs at the University of
Baltimore.
Carol Prunhuber: The author of : The Passion and the
Death of Rahman The Kurd: Dreaming Kurdistan”.
