Barzani wants Kurdistan
stronger than Baghdad, thus he wants to be stronger
than the Iraqi Prime Minister Maliki, says Yassin

BAGHDAD, — Iraqi State of Law leading member Yassin Majeed described Kurdistan region president
Massoud Barzani as "a real danger on Iraq, as a
state, sovereignty, security and nation-wise because
he rejected the infrastructure law and arms deals".
In a press conference on Sunday, he added that
"Kurdish region president Barzani wants Kurdistan
stronger than Baghdad, thus he wants to be stronger
than the Iraqi Prime Minister Maliki, which is the
real danger on Iraq as a state, sovereignty,
economy, security and nation-wise".
"Barzani rejected the infrastructure law and does
not want a strong military establishment by
objecting to Russian arms deal", he added.
Majeed continued saying that "Kurdistan does not
want a political role for Iraq, but only Erbil
should have on the account of Baghdad, as well as
the companies in Erbil,www.ekurd.net
not in Baghdad and the Kurdish Peshmerga forces to
replace the Iraqi army".
He warned that some of Iraqi political circles
foremost is Iraqiya bloc, are following Barzani
steps.
Earlier, Majeed accused last May Barzani of
"dictatorship and controlling the rule in Kurdistan,
as well as covering oil smuggling by creating a
crisis with Baghdad".
Before two months, Barzani warned from Italy that
the "Kurdish people will have another decision if
the Iraqi government does not abide by the
constitution and turned to dictatorship and
unilateral, because the Kurdish people will not live
under a dictatorial rule any more".
