Deemed the major opponent refuting to recognize Kurdish autonomy rights, Iran has been relentlessly pounding Iraqi Kurdistan for years, seeking to hamper Kurdish Regional Government to no avail from further being economically and militarily empowered by all means feasible.

Many members of Kurdish political parties have been martyred in recent armed clashes . Execution of Kurdish political activists, regime-dissidents and human rights advocates is drastically on the rise. Kurds in all parts of Kurdistan have risen and very loudly condemned Iranian non-stop aggressions and illegitimate interferences in Iraqi Kurdistan internal affairs with one united voice. However, as the leading Kurdish political party striving to secure Kurdish rights in Iran,
www.ekurd.netthe Kurdish Democratic Party of Iran has not declared or portrayed any nonviolent reaction to regimes brutal commitment of atrocities in Iraqi Kurdistan.

KDPI silence and more leaning toward Iranian opposition instead of working more closely with Kurdish political parties and groups is a disappointing fact to many Kurds, making some even believe that KDPI has let down the trust of its supporters.

The population of Kurds in Eastern Kurdistan ( Iran) outnumber the Kurds in Southern Kurdistan ( Iraq) . Given KDPI long and unique part in Kurdish politics and especially founding of the first Kurdish Republic independent government, It is proven that KDPI can play a more dynamic role in striving to struggle for Kurdish rights in Iran.
