UK, — After an emergency meeting on Friday Chatri
Azadi, an umbrella group for Kurdish political
activists in London, published a statement about the
criminal murder of demonstrating Kurdish youth in
Sulaimaniyah by the militia of Kurdistan Democratic
Party KDP led by Massoud Barzani. The following is
the text of the statement:
At a time when the Middle East is witnessing the
collapse of the repressive autocratic family
regimes,www.ekurd.netit
was not surprising and unexpected to see the
militias of Kurdistan Democratic Party shoot at and
murder peaceful civilian young demonstrators in
Sulaimaniyah.
Our people well realise that the corrupt party power
in Kurdistan region is beyond reform. It should go
and be brought down just like the regimes of Tunisia
and Egypt. Therefore as the Freedom Umbrella of the
people of Kurdistan we stress the following points:.
