Kurdish MP critices Iraqi PM

The Iraqi Kurdish MP announced on today that three
Iraqi political parties have criticized the current
Iraqi Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki in Baghdad,
the Iraqi MP on the Kurdistan Alliance Reported on
Thursday.
“Each of Kurdistan alliance, together with Iraqi
National Accord and Iraqi accord party have strongly
criticized to Maliki, who had mentioned the coup
d'état term against them and they requested him to
never use the term again,” Dr Mahmoud Othman said.
“The above-mentioned local political parties had
some sessions and meetings without putsch deal
against the Iraqi government,” he added.

According to the parties’
reactions, Othman noted “the Kurdistan alliance had
contributed together with the rest local political
entities and lists to shed light on the State
general policy,www.ekurd.netreconciliation
process, as well as public service and corruption
phenomena, including finalizing the permanent
tensions according to political issues.”
Iraq Vote had started on Sunday, March 7, with 19
million people in 18 Iraqi provinces entitled to
elect 325 Iraqi parliament members, 82 of them would
be women. One million and 900,000 voters will cast
ballots in 16 countries outside Iraq.
Hundreds of local and international journalists,
observers and NGOs, including the UN, eye the polls
to bring success to the Iraqi newly born democracy.
