ERBIL-Hewlęr,
Kurdistan region 'Iraq',— The former Head of the
Kurdish National Congress of North America (KNCNA)
Dr Saman Shali said that the relations between Kurds
and America are only verbal.
"There are no official notes about our relations
with the US, because they don't view the Kurds, as
before 2003," he said.
He also claimed that the negative aspects of the
Kurdish government policies affected this
relationship. "Internal conflict and corruption in
the administration and these sorts, had a negative
effect on our relationship."
According to Shali, the Kurds have a better
relationship with the Pentagon than with the US
State Department.

"The Pentagon has a good relation
with us, but the Foreign Ministry since Henry
Kissinger (Former Chief of State) has been under
influence of Arab lobbyists,www.ekurd.netthat's why they will
never allow them to get close to Kurdish issues," Shali revealed.
He was also very critical of Kurdistan regional
government's representatives in U.S. "They have very
weak relations with the Kurdish community in U.S."
