The Median-Persian Empire and Prophet
Daniel in the Lion’s Den

article will be more meaning full. There are so many
hands for last 2500 years trying to erase the
history of Mede (Kurds) by giving miss
information’s. In my upcoming book “Iran and
Iranians’ Enemies with the Same DNA” after many
years of research I found out the truth about the
origin of Kurds and their civilizations. We Kurds
are the children of Magi - the Three Wise Men
visited Jesus of Nazareth at birth because according
to their calculations he was the Messiah.
We Kurds are educating ourselves with knowledge like
our forefathers Magi to reclaim our glory days back.
We are getting organized day after day in every
field to defend ourselves against those who want to
erase our identities. Here is an example how others
denied our right by confusing the readers even after
Prophet Daniel was very clear and wrote that the
King was from Mede Empire. The name was “Darius of
Mede” so what ambiguity are there people. There are
thousand of lie about our forefather and our people
the Mede (Kurds). We are finding out the truth now a
day thanks to the internet ages. The new technology
allowing our people free communications around the
world. The Kurds and other Iranian pens that care
about our people are writing the truth. No more lie
will work on us. We are changing the world opinion
about our people.
We are already liberated people spiritually. We will
get liberated physically soon. The Kurds are united
people today and alive. I am calling on them to
revive the Median Empire with an “Economic Union”
from Pakistan to Turkey and from Kurdistan to former
Soviet Union countries. We are more than three
hundred million people. The UN recognized our
National days the Newroz. The Islamic Republic of
Iran (IRI) was trying to erase our heritage for the
Arabs. We are getting united with Persian people day
after day just look at the Persian singers shows in
south Kurdistan, they are getting millions of Kurds
to enjoy their songs. We are the same people with
the same language; the Shi’a Islam is not capable to
divide us any more.
We are building democratic systems with the rule of
laws like our forefather the Emperor Dayukku and
Cyrus the Great. We are uniting with the Europeans’,
Australian and North American people. The Arabs and
Turks won’t be able to stop us.

Emperor Darius of Mede (Cyaxaras II) of Median
Empire son of Emperor Astyages and Grandson of
Emperor Cyaxaras II (Uvaxshtrahyah) came to love
Daniel and made him one of the three main rulers in
his kingdom; the King thought to set him over the
whole realm. Other important persons envied Daniel
and decided to kill him. They knew that three times
a day Daniel prayed to God, opening the window
toward Jerusalem. Therefore, they came to the King
and asked him to establish a royal statute that
within thirty days,www.ekurd.netwhosoever
shall ask a petition of any god or man, save the
King, should be cast into a den of lions. The King
agreed. But the Prophet Daniel, as before, did not
cease to pray to God every day and beg His mercy.
His enemies reported this to the King. Then Darius
understood that he had been deceived, but he was
unable to change his order, and he was compelled to
permit Daniel to be thrown to the lions.
The next day, early in the morning, the King hurried
to the lions’ den and cried, "Daniel, servant of the
living God! Is thy God, whom you serve continually,
able to deliver thee from the lions?" (Dan. 6:20).
Daniel answered him from the den, "O king! My God
hath sent His angel, and hath shut the lions’
mouths, forasmuch as before Him innocency was found
in me; and also before thee O king, have I done no
hurt" (Dan. 6:21-22).
The King then commanded that they should take Daniel
up out of the den, and they cast his accusers into
the den of lions. Before they had even come to the
bottom of the den, the lions seized them and broke
all their bones in pieces.
Then King Darius wrote a decree. I make a decree,
that in every dominion of my kingdom men tremble and
fear before the God of Daniel: for He is the living
God, and steadfast forever, and His kingdom that
which shall not be destroyed, and His dominion shall
be even unto the end (Dan. 6:26).
The Prophet Daniel prospered in the reign of Darius
of Mede and in the reign of Cyrus the Great of
Median Empire. He made many predictions which were
later fulfilled.
Daniel predicted the birth of Christ the Saviour
precisely in seventy weeks of years, that is, in 490
years. He predicted also that Christ would be put to
death, and after Him would follow the destruction of
the Temple and city and the cessation of the Old
Testament sacrifices (Dan. 9:23-27).
