Talabani, Barzani discuss ways to render electoral
process success

SULAIMANIYAH, Kurdistan region 'Iraq', —
Iraqi President Jalal Talabani on Tuesday discussed
with Kurdistan Prime Minister Nechirvan Barzani in
Sulaimaniyah means of rendering the electoral
process in Kurdistan a success, according to a
statement of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK).
“Talabani discussed at his residence in Sulaimaniyah
on Tuesday (June 23) with Kurdish Prime Minister
Nechirvan Barzani the latest developments in the
Iraqi and regional arena and means of rendering the
electoral process in the region a success,” said the
statement received by Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
“The two discussed ways to foster relations between
the PUK and the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP),”
it noted.
