ERBIL-Hewler, Kurdistan region 'Iraq', —
The head of the Independent High Electoral
Commission (IHEC) on Monday said that 966 voters
from Baghdad will participate in the upcoming
parliamentary polls in Iraq’s Kurdistan region,
scheduled for next month.
“A total of 966 voters from Baghdad have signed up
to vote in the upcoming elections in Kurdistan,”
Faraj al-Haidari told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
A special voting that includes security and army
personnel will be held on July 23, Haidari noted.
