SULAIMANIYAH, Kurdistan region 'Iraq', —
Sulaimaniyah's provincial council on Thursday called
on the president of Iraq’s Kurdistan region, Massoud
Barzani,www.ekurd.net
to postpone the
ratification of the draft constitution and to put it
to a public referendum.
“Today, the council met and discussed the
ratification of the draft constitution of the
Kurdistan region. Thirty-two out of 35 members have
called on Barzani to put off the ratification of the
draft constitution and to put it to a referendum,”
Sulaimaniyah's governor, Dana Ahmed Majeed,www.ekurd.net
said in a press
conference that was attended by Aswat al-Iraq news
