Kurdistan region 'Iraq', — In the presence of
Kurdistan Parliament Vice President and the
Parliament’s Secretary, President of Kurdistan
Parliament Dr. Kamal Kirkuki on October 10th 2009
headed a session of the Parliament, where the
Kurdistan Regional Government KRG Minister of
Natural Resources Dr. Ashti Hawrami attended.
The agenda of the session was to ask the Minister of
Natural resources to clarify the KRG’s position
about the issue that was raised between the (DNO)
Oil Company and the Norwegian Oslo Stock Exchange.
“Nothing to do with the KRG on this subject, but
this subject is confined between the (DNO) oil
company and the Norwegian Oslo Stock Exchange”
Stated Minister of Natural Resources.
The Natural Resources Minister in his speech said
the cause of the problem was due to the lack of
commitment by the (DNO) oil company to the
instructions of Norwegian Oslo Stock Exchange as a
member of the exchange.
with regard to the subject published by Norwegian
newspaper, and mentioning his named, the KRG
Minister of Natural Resources stated that when the
stock market fined DNO on the charges that the
company did not give information about the treatment
of stock were to rely on my e-mail as one of the

I sent a message to the mentioned company regarding
this deal, which proved that the company was aware
of transactions, so the question is limited between
the company and the stock market and not the KRG.
The Minister of Natural Resources said that that the
Oslo Stock Exchange does not have any problem with
the KRG. |
