Kurdistan region 'Iraq', — Despite of his
involvement in the illegal deal of selling some of
the shares of the Norway’s DNO oil firm to a Turkish
firm, the incumbent Kurdistan Regional Government’s
Minster of Oil and Natural Resources Ashti Hawrami
will stay in his post in the next cabinet to be
formed in the coming weeks, according to biweekly

Kurdish popular newspaper.
“It has been decided that Ashti Hawrami is going to
remain in his position as he is a capable person and
needed by both the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP)
and Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK),” a close
source from the decision told Hawlati.
Hawarami has also been asked making by the MPs of
the newly emerged opposition, Gorran (Change)
movement to attend a parliament for session for
questioning.
