Iraqi
Kurdistan region.
Do you think that either
Patriotic Union of Kurdistan or Kurdistan Democratic
Party expects even a kid to believe them when they
say that they want to separate power between the
government and party? Do you think they are that
naive that they consider Kurdish people dumb? Just
look for a moment, in one hand they are preparing
reports, projects and recommendations to separate
the government from the party and on the other hand
they insult the glory of the government on daily
basis. It is the same government that they
controlled without any significant rival. |

So far there is no law
to organize the work of the Provincial councils in
Kurdistan,www.ekurd.net
and
you know what; the draft of the law has been sent to
PUK and KDP’s politburo for review.
We know that the Kurdistan parliament doesn’t have a
substantial power, but they had been successful
enough to almost finish the Provincial Councils Law,
but instead of putting it to votes, they sent the
project to the politburos to decide on. They also
postponed the provincial councils’ elections to the
end of the year.
The term “government institutions” which is widely
used in their mouthpiece media to and extent that is
really disturbing, is not only incorrect, but it is
a big fat lie. If you want the truth to be told,
there is only “party institutions” in Kurdistan and
“government institutions” are a dream that has not
come true.
Can anyone give me a name of a minister who has been
given the post because of his skilled rather than
his party affiliation? Most of the ministers in
Kurdistan look like Lottery winners. If we get
radish from Iran, and garlic from China, then why do
we need the minister of agriculture? If the private
generator owners, not the ministry of electricity,
provide use with power, why do we need a minister
for electricity? When human beings are the least
valuable creature in this country, isn’t the
ministry of human rights a joke? When rules and laws
are only inks on books, why do we need the minister
of justice?
And the situation of the parliament is not way
better than the government. Most of the members of
parliament, their speeches are not good enough to
talk for a couple minutes. I just wonder whom they
represent and how they represent.
The parties that have send these kinds of people
only want them to raise their hands from time to
time to pass laws. We all remember that a while age
when the head of Green (PUK) factions in parliament
voiced some criticism about a draft law,www.ekurd.net
that
had been drafted in the main parties politburo, he
was replaced. It is PUK and KDP that work to break
the esteem of the state institutions.
Keep all the reports, projects and recommendations
for yourself (PUK and KDP). Kurdish people might be
somehow naive to believe in some of the games that
you play under the name of democracy, but they are
not dumb to consider you as masterminds of
strengthening the government and limit the power of
parties.
