This makes us (as people of Kirkuk) extremely concerned because the name was officially revised to its origin which is Kirkuk,” Kurdish journalist, Asaad Jabari said. As he told PUKmedia, during a meeting of the Iraqi provincial councils in Baghdad, the board said “representatives of Ta’mim province” which provoked the representatives of the Kirkuk Council, and then they changed it to Kirkuk by their own amidst the meeting.
