KRP Spokesman on recent Turkish Air Attacks Erbil,
Kurdistan Region, Iraq
In the past few days, the Turkish military has once
again been
bombing border areas
in the two governorates of Duhok and Erbil. This is
a clear violation of Iraq's territorial integrity
and our national sovereignty.
These actions are not only counterproductive to
working towards any peaceful resolutions for the
problems of the region,www.ekurd.net
but they further
exacerbate the situation and contribute to
instability in the region. |

We call on our common friends to use their influence
in asking Turkey to immediately stop these attacks.
We condemn such assaults on our border and hope
Turkey will end these operations at once.
