Iraqi Kurdistan President Massoud Barzani: "We are
in the union of Iraq"

Erbil-Hewler, Kurdistan region 'Iraq, --
Iraqi Kurdistan President Massoud Barzani stated
that they are included in the union of Iraq and they
will remain so. Barzani said: "after the fall of the
Baath regime, Kurds have taken effective roles in
Iraq".
"The Kurdistan region was some in a sort of
independent state before the fall of the Baath

the Kurdistani
parliament has decided to live in unity with Iraqi
fellows, according to their own discretion.
Therefore, Kurds are taking effective roles in the
new Iraq. According to the common law of Iraq, the
rights of Kurdish people are being recognized."
Since 1991, the Kurds of Iraq achieved self-rule in
part of the country. Today's teenagers are the first
generation to grow up under Kurdish rule. In the new
Iraqi Constitution, it is referred to as Kurdistan

constitution, its own parliament, its own flag, its
own army, its own border with Iraq, its own border
patrol, its own national anthem, its own education
