Expressions of interest in
contract bid
The Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) Ministry of
Electricity invites companies to express their
interest in submitting bids and proposals for the
following contract(s). All expressions of interest
should be received no later than 3pm (Kurdistan,
Iraq time) on Monday 7 April 2008, and sent to the
address at the end of this announcement. |

The Electricity Ministry will announce the bid
documents for the contract for a 132 kV OH TL
Chamchamal Power Plant Connection to the
Sulaimaniyah System, and the extension of
132/33/11kV GIS Substations.
Pre-qualification forms will be sent to companies
which express an interest in bidding. The
short-listing of potential companies will be based
on the information provided in the pre-qualification
forms. One week after the closing date for receiving
expressions of interest,www.ekurd.net

will be notified if they have been short-listed and
will be sent the tender documents.
132KV TRANSMISSION LINE
The scope of the project is provision of the
engineering, necessary design, supply including
spare parts, erection, testing, commissioning,
training of personnel and defects liability for
twelve (12) months for construction of New 132 kV OH
TL DC Twin ACSR Teal with OPGW and modification /
rehabilitation and dismantling of the existing 132
kV OH transmission lines, with approximate lengths
of the line 300km.

SULAIMANIYAH SOUTH SUBSTATION 132/33/11 kV,
3x63/50/25 MVA
Two OH Transmission Line bays 132 kV – Double busbar,
SF6 Gas insulated Switchgear.
TASLUJA SUBSTATION 132/33 kV, 3x63 MVA
Two OH Transmission Line bays 132 kV – Double busbar,
SF6 Gas insulated Switchgear.
