Erbil-Hewler, Kurdistan region 'Iraq', --
Iraqi President Jalal Talabani held a meeting on
Monday with Kurdistan’s President Massoud Barzani in
Salah el-Din resort in Erbil, a media source said.
“President Talabani arrived this afternoon in Erbil,
where he held talks with Massoud Barzani on the
results of Talabani’s recent visit to Turkey,www.ekurd.net
the agenda of the Arab
parliamentarians conference and Iraqi local
affairs,” Tariq Gohar, the media council in the
Kurdish parliament, told reporters.
He did not add further details.
Talabani arrived in the Erbil airport earlier during
the day, where President Barzani and Kurdish Prime
Minister Nechirvan Barzani received him.
Erbil, the capital of the autonomous Iraqi Kurdistan
region, lies 349 km northeast of Baghdad. |
