Iraqi Government Recommended UNHCR to Deport
Mujahidin Khalq from Iraq
The Iraqi council of ministers formed a special
committee to cope the existence of the gunmen belong
to Mujahidin Khalq organization in Iraq.
According to the Iraqi Dijla radio, the Iraqi
foreign minister Hoshyar Zebari asserted that the
Iraqi government sent almost 200 passports to the
headquarters of Mujahidin Khalq located in Baquba so
that their gunmen can gradually leave Iraq.
“The Iraqi government realized that those gunmen
have made lots of trouble for Iraq. In this regard,
the government informed the UNHCR Chief Antonio
Guterres to take appropriate measures to deport them
from Iraq,” Zebari added.
The gunmen of Mujahidin Khalq have been deployed in
Ashraf military base located nearby Baquba after the
Iraqi freedom operation, while they are not allowed
to launch military operation against the Islamic
Republic of Iran.
Arresting Senior Leader in so Called Iraqi
Islamic State
A source in the 3rd Battalion of Sulaimani Brigade,
exclusively stated to PUKmedia” Monday our forces in
collaboration with the Multi-National Forces stormed
Zebat village in al-Riyadh sub-district, al-Haweja
District (northwest kirkuk) and arrested Rabea Shukr
Ibrahim, who is a leader in so called the Iraqi
Islamic State and 2 of his aides.
The arrested persons were involved in most terrorist
actions which have happened recently in Kirkuk city
and al-Haweja, they are under investigation now, the
source added.
Oil Law will End KRG Oil Contracts Crisis
Iraqi Ministry of Oil official spokesman Asim Jihad
said that issuing the Oil Law is going to end the
crisis of oil contracts between the Federal
government and KRG. In an interview with Radio Sawa
Broadcasting, he added that the disagreement is not
between the Oil Ministry and KRG, but it’s in the
difference in explanations. He hoped that the
Parliament will issue this law as soon as possible.
About KRG contracts with the foreign companies, Asim
said “the Parliament has to solve this problem, not
the Ministry of Oil. The ministry is a part of the
government, and cannot do any movement without the
government’s agreement.”
Akre Prison Officially Closed
After the KRG Prime Minister has decided that Akre
Prison, which is located in the middle of the Akre
city, to be closed completely, On Sunday the KRG
Minster of Human Rights, Shwan Muhammad Aziz made a
tour to the prison and announced the closure of the
prison officially. “Mahata and Maaskar Salam prisons
as well, essentially have no conditions of a prison
and currently efforts is being made to establish two
new prisons for the prisoners in Kurdistan region”,
the KRG Minster of Human Rights announced.
“The KRG has decided that all the prison in
Kurdistan region will be belonged the KRG Ministry
of Labor and Social Affairs which is a vital step
towards the understanding and identifying the duties
aiming at reformation”, he added.
“That step by the KRG Minster of Human Rights is an
important step towards improving the conditions of
prisoners in Kurdistan region, the spokesman of the
KRG Minster of Human Rights, Nazim Dilband said.
KRG will have 21 Ministries
During the meeting of both PUK and KDP politburos in
Erbil Sunday, in addition to discussing several
various issues, the issue of minimizing the KRG
ministries has been discussed and both sides have
agreed upon a joint project on the new KRG
government.
According to the project several KRG ministries will
be integrated .The new KRG Cabinet will be reduced
to 21 ministries and all those political parties
that are now participating in the current cabinet,
will take ministries or mister posts, the Formal
Spokesman of PUK Politburo, Mala Bakhtiyar has told
PUKmedia. It is worth mentioning, that it is
expected the next Wednesday both PUK and KDP
politburos to meet again.
