Kurdistan Citizens’ Problem in Gaining G Series
Passport
Colonel Salih Othman Kedir the head of Sulaimany
Passport Directorate said “We held this conference
Sunday in Sulaimaniyah to discuss the directorate
activities and to find solutions to the problems
that hinders its work. We pointed out to the
suspended problem of issuing passport of G series
between our directorate and the central one in
Baghdad.”
Colonel Salih Othman Kedir, also said that there are
almost 3000 dossier concerning Sulaimaniyah citizen
passports, only 280 have been finished. The main
problem is with the devise of printing G letter, we
pointed out to this matter in many occasions but in
vain, we will work to solve this problem as soon as
possible.
PUK and KDP Politburos Hold Meeting
A well informed source in the Office of Kurdistan
Region Vice President, said that the both Politburos
in PUK and PDK, held a meeting this morning in the
office of Kurdistan Region VP in Erbil City.
Kosrat Rasul Ali, the Deputy of the PUK Secretary
General and the Region’s Vice President is the head
of the PUK side while the PDK side is headed by
Fadhel Merani the Secretary of the Politburo, the
source added.
The meeting will discuss the issue of rebuilding the
KRG and the latest developments particularly in
Kurdistan Region and Iraq in general.
Rizgar Ali Rejected News Published in Some of
Turkish News Agencies
The head of the Kirkuk provincial council Rizgar Ali
rejected the news published by some of the Turkish
news agencies , describing it as “fabricated”.
In an exclusive statement to PUKmedia, Rizgar Ali
said that some of the Turkish news agencies (Turkish
Taraf newspaper as an example) published a piece of
news revealing several points of the meeting between
the Iraqi president and Turkmen Front List while
they were not mentioned during the meeting.
“We hope that those news agencies do not depend on
the e-mails or letters directed through a specific
political party. They should better visit Kirkuk and
interview the different political parties" he added.
Details of this news will be published in Kurdistan
Nwe newspaper on Sunday.
62 MW of Power Reached Duhok Province Spokesman
Says
The spokesman of the KRG ministry for electricity
said Saturday that Duhok province was re-supplied
with power yesterday. 25 MW was initially sent to
the city, later it was increased to 50 MW. It has
reached 62 MW.
According to the agreement signed between the
central government and Turkey, 200 MW is supposed to
be sent to Duhok province. As the spokesman stated,
the current amount of the power that has reached the
province primarily goes to the public places and
also the people. The Turkish government has cut off
power to the province for three months under the
pretext of getting an insufficient amount of oil
from Iraq. The Iraqi ministry for electricity denied
this claim.
Mala Bakhtiyar meets Head of PUK Relations Office
in Iran
The active member of PUK Politburo Mala Bakhtiyar
met today with the head of PUK relations office in
the Islamic Republic of Iran. During the meeting,
which was attended by the KRG representative in
Tehran, the possibilities of activating the office
performance were discussed. Mala Bakhtiyar
emphasized the necessity of these offices to
consolidate the political and economic relations
with Iran.
Kurdish Doctor to be Member in Paris Municipality
The French Socialist Party nominated , the member of
the party to participate in the municipal elections
in the 11th directorate representing the list which
is headed by Patrice Blush, the French MP and a
former socialist Minister.
Dr. Alan Jan Imoni, who lives in Paris, is a French
doctor from Kurdish origin he has both Kurdish and
Europeans background; he is married and has a child.
Imoni Joined the French Socialist Party in 2003, now
he is the deputy of the International Relations
Council in the 11th directorate.
Dr. Alan Jan Imoni tries throughout his career as a
member in the French Socialist Party to acquaint the
lawmakers in France with the Kurdish Issue. He has
contributed on many occasion in the humanitarian
field, the most remarkable one is helping the
casualties of Tsunami Catastrophe.
