Sulaimaniyah…Signing Understanding Memo with
Iranian Companies
Mr. Abdullah Haj Saaed, the assistant of PUK
Secretary General for Commercial Affairs, met with a
delegation representing Iranian Companies ,
specialized in Building, Agriculture, Electricity
and Tourism. They expressed their readiness to
invest and work in Kurdistan Region.
Mr. Abdullah Haj Saaed signed an understanding memo
with the Delegation. According to this, Iranian
companies will play a crucial role in the fields
which these companies are specialized in.
Mr. Jalal Talabani and KRG will offer a full support
to the Iranian companies, this memo will activate
the building process in Kurdistan Region and
modernize its infrastructure, Mr. Abdullah Haj Saaed
said.
Erfan Kirkukly : Article 140 Guarantee Stability
in Iraq
The Turkmen Public Party renewed its support for the
implementation of Article 140 of Iraqi Constitution,
concerning normalization in Kirkuk and other
disputed areas.
Mr. Erfan Kirkukly the Head of the Turkmen Public
Party, exclusively stated to PUKmedia” Article 140
of the Iraqi Constitution was voted on by the
majority of Iraqi people, it’s the guarantee for
stability in Iraq.”
Halabja: Seismology Station opened
On Wednesday a MAWS301 Seismology station opened in
the city of Halabja which cost $ 78000 allocated by
the KRG.
The station can identify every weather and
geological developments every 10 minutes, hours and
24 hours, director general of weather and Seismology
office exclusively told PUKmedia.
“It is scheduled that 2 more stations will be opened
in Akre and Soran districts and via satellites will
be connected to the World Meteorological
Organization (WMO), and then its data to be analyzed
in Erbil for weather forecast across Kurdistan
region, added.”
President Massoud Barzani: Issues should be
Solved According to Constitution
Mr. Massoud Barzani the President of Kurdistan
Region met the political adviser of the US Embassy,
Mr. David Perish and his accompanied delegation in
Salahadin resort.
The political process in Iraq is discussed, and also
ways of implementing Article 140 and UN’s
participation in this matter. President Massoud
Barzani emphasized that KRG’s stance is that the
solution of the suspended issues must be based on
the Iraqi constitution. They also discussed the
importance of security stability in the recent year,
achieving the National Reconciliation and
strengthening the ties between Baghdad’s Federal
Government and the KRG.
