Tataii for Congress Press Release
November 3, 2008
Tataii's latest Press Release on 5 top Issues before
November 4 General elections, while remaining
hopeful to win his election against the infamous
Incumbent. The press release included 4 recent
online Video streaming Links of his campaign
speeches.
1) Steve Tataii's Alternative Economic Plan vs
Bailout (two simple steps),
I am neither an economist nor have I served in
Congress, but using basic math, and logic:
1- The administration or Congress should put a two
years moratorium on collecting service charges,
fees, and late charges by all the giant,www.ekurd.net
and even small credit
card companies, who have, for decades, taken
advantage of our citizens, Rich or Poor, but
particularly the poor. Let's call it: "Deferred-no
fee- no late charges-no service charges payments for
at least two years, and during which these charges
will not be added in billing statements for the two
years period, and while congress can have the
opportunity to evaluate, and change malicious
billings".
2- Secondly, the administration or congress should
pass a Bill to forgive one forth of the total
mortgage payments if the borrower has already paid
three forth of his/her entire mortgage, which is
another way of giving back to our hard working
citizens, who have been ripped off Royally. They
should then own their homes once that portion is
forgiven instead of putting them up for
foreclosures. They should also consider a deferred
payment of up to two years for those, who have paid
half of their mortgages instead of moving to the
foreclosure process. My proposal has been based on
the fact; that by the time mortgage payments are
paid each time; the owner will have paid twice or
more the actual price for the home. Again, congress
should evaluate the amount of fees, service charges,
and interest rates if any, as described in Credit
Card cases above, and lower those fees to a
reasonable, and logical level, and not at the whim
of the mortgage companies.
The two simple solutions above could prevent our
Federal Reserve be used in these questionable
crisis. Our federal Reserve should only be used as a
last alternative resort after we have exhausted all
our simple, and doable options such as my ideas
shown above. Government should not get involved in
the business of the "Bail Out" plan, and act like
the Giant mortgage company itself. This will only
lead to a much bigger government corruption at an
unprecedented proportion, while we're trying to stop
illegal contribution scams engineered by many
Washington based lobbyists such as the convicted
"Jack Abramoff".
2) Steel on Steel is the only environmentally safe
mass transit plan for Oahu. |

I'm not endorsing anyone
here, but more highways will seriously damage our
already overdeveloped environment. We need mass
transit, and Steel on Steel rail is the only
alternative left without building too many highways,
and in the end being forced to construct rail on the
long run as well. Rail will require one platform
narrower than any highway,www.ekurd.net
but more highways will
require massive infrastructure construction, and
occupy more land on their paths. We must also create
safe bicycle lanes across Oahu, which has been long
overdue since my first proposal in 1988 elections.
It is unbelievable; that no "Career Politician" has
ever suggested creation bicycle lanes/paths.
3) Alternative energy, among others, is Solar
developments "in Hawaii - for Hawaii".
We need to take advantage of our suitable sunny
climate, and develop Solar system in Hawaii for
Hawaii to also create jobs for many of our citizens.
Wind, and Thermal energy should also be on that
list.
4) Iraq War - Afghanistan War can, and must come to
an end soon.
On the Iraq War:
We should secure the restoration of Kurdistan nation
state in the North, and Arabistan nation state in
South, and then work within the two recognized
states in dealing with any foreign terrorists,
reconstruction-nation building process in both
states, and gradually pull out, and bring back our
troops. this may take 1-2 years.
If this had been done by 2005 before the mysterious
bombing of the Golden Shiat Mosque in South in 2006,
we could have rapped up our massive troop presence.
Administration's callous expectation for
unification, which still exists is perhaps the worst
foreign policy ever. They should know; that Kurds
are a Distinct, and proud nation of their own, who
should have been granted Independence 85 years ago
in Lausanne's 1923 treaty.
The failure in doing so has kept The Kurds fighting
for their own Liberation in all those 85 years,
while other newly formed states out of the treaty of
Sevres of 1920, which was the original plan to give
birth to many states such as Saudi Arabia, and
Jordan.
The Kurds were split into 4 parts, and thrown to be
usurped by Turkey, Syria, Iraq, and North West of
Iran (which made all manufactured states, each
containing a large piece of Kurdistan. This was
caused by Great Britain, and France apparently for
their colonial motives to exploit oil, and other
resources from the region.
On Afghanistan war:
Afghanistan war has gone on for too long, and
innocent civilians are being killed without a
positive plan to end the conflict. We should be
helping Afghan citizens in nation building, and
create massive number of jobs. Afghans need foreign
aid from the international community, and respect
for their sovereignty as a nation state.
5) con con (constitutional convention) will not have
positive changes in many outdated issues without my
participation if Abercrombie steals the election
again!
I will only take part if my rightful victory since
2002 elections has been rectified in this election
for a U.S. Congress seat. We must at least have one
RepublicanDelegate from Hawaii, and my leadership
can extensively provide that position.
On the issue of Debate
between Abercrombie, and Tataii:
Regarding my opponent; he continues to ignore our
calls for a debate, and has clearly evaded the 'Olelo
debate on October 19, 2008. My attempts will
continue until they have committed themselves to
show up.
If Abercrombie, and our Media-Debate organizers fail
to set up a debate for me,www.ekurd.net
and Abercrombie; that
would set the worst precedence for the future well
being of Hawaii, where our freedom will continue to
be monopolized by the same old Incumbent-Reelecting
machine in keeping our four delegates in power until
they are dead one by one, and while they control our
lives, stripping us from our fullest expected
potentials in our progress, and minimum corruption
free governments.
It was Abercrombie, who
sabotaged my victory in 2002.
Yet not many objected, and those who did were not in
position of power to help me reinstate my victory.
This led me to file 5 law suits or election contests
of which the first was dismissed in State Supreme
court, and our state sovereignty immunity protected
Abercrombie from being prosecuted, and convicted.
This has been the pattern of how we have operated in
our courts for over a hundred years, and it must be
changed.
On November 4, 2008, voters have a chance to make
that decision, and unseat Abercrombie, who has been
given an easy ride to win 10 elections on the row
with the help of our Media, appeasing special
interest groups in our state of aloha.
If I don't win on NOV 4th;
this will then become my last election.
I hope I will win, because then I can hopefully
participate in our con con, which is yet to be voted
on its passage to be held. If candidates like me are
discouraged, and left behind to remain on the
sidelines; we, the viable candidates, will not
participate in con con, hence we will all fail to
make positive new laws, and perhaps end up with laws
worse than before, and remain slaves in the quagmire
of U.S. Delegates' monopoly, who rule over Hawaii
citizens from behind the scenes.
