With all due respect, Dr. Kamal Mirawdali, you might
have gone a little too far by calling Kurdistan, "Barbaristan".
Keep in mind the "barbars" you are attacking are the
ones that were attacked by Saddam and are still
being attacked by their other enemies in the Middle
East. Do you really expect those who spent most of
their lives struggling in the mountains could behave
like European noble laureates that have never
experienced unusual hardships?
Of course Kurds have shortcoming like 6 billion
other human beings. Kurds are not fully westernized
as the "chosen" Jews wish them to be, they are not
"pure" as the racist Ayrans want them to be, and
they are not "sinless" as the fanatic Muslim
Brotherhood, Hezbollah, and Al-Qaida force them to
be. They are simply humans with sometimes more and
sometimes less desirable traits.www.ekurd.net
Do you really think
Moses, Jesus, Mohammad, Kourosh, Slahadin, Attaturk,
Lenin, Mother Teresa, Ocalan, etc. were flawless? If
you think so, you have not recognized the difference
between humans and the higher being they hope to
reach.
Please keep in mind, many KRG leaders are suffering
form the consequences of the traumas they have
experienced. Some of them are older, heavier, and
less flexible in their movement. Some of them still
wear a tribal turban that occasionally covers their
vision and occasionally helps them with a cold head,
some of them don't have the youth and energy to run
forms one mountain and country to the next. Many of
their offspring are either apathetic, preoccupied
with lower half of their body, or have new but not
applicable ideas and can not help them with more
than sympathy for what they have gone through. These
leaders have tasted the joy of having a delicious
dinner with wine, a calming music, and a lovely
night in the arm of their lovers. Isn't this what
you want too? Why should the Kurds give up such a
joy and run again? May be this is the way their
neighbors moved a head!
The ex-pishmarga Kurds are under constant fear of
what would happen if their neighbors attack them
again. Who will take care of their school children
that are learning their abandoned language again?
Who is going to take care of the elderly and the ill
that have a Kurdish speaking care giver now? The
Kurds in Southern Kurdistan might be doing some
calculated moves, what do we know? If they do any
wrong move, they might be bombed and pushed back by
their neighbors one more century again.
Compare to their barbaric enemies, the non-chosen,
non-pure, and sinful Kurds are doing a fine job. If
we expect them to make progress, they expect from us
constructive criticism but not insults and
humiliations. Imagine if your parents had told you,
you are barbaric for your behavior they did not
approve; how would you have taken it? I believe, you
have done great things for Kurdistan, and I am
confident you will do more. Southern Kurdistan
leaders and people will recognize that you are on
their side by a simple brave and humble apology
explanation letter.
