KRG Deputy PM Visits Patients of Cholera
Outbreak. Kurdistan PM Nechirvan Barzani
devoted 400000 US $
In context of efforts for controlling cholera
outbreak in Sulaimaniyah city, Nechirvan Barzani
Kurdistan PM devoted 400000 US $ for that purpose.
“KRG PM allocated 400000 US $ for baying drugs of
cholera and water cleaning stuffs ,in addition to
intensive efforts for eliminating the disease, Jamal
Abdullah ,KRG official spokesman told PUKmedia on
Saturday September the 1st .
On the other hand on early Saturday Mr. Omar Fattah
KRG deputy PM, accompanied by Dr. Ziryan Othman, KRG
minister of health and Dr. Sherko Abdullah, general
director of health office in Sulaimani visited
Sulaimani teaching hospital for close awareness of
how the patients of cholera are treated.
In his visit KRG deputy PM, assured the patients
that KRG will tries by all means to eradicate
cholera disease. Later he visited Sarchenar water
supply and examined on how water are distributed on
civilians and expressed KRG support for all
cooperation.
Iraqi Government Delegation Visits Haji Omaran
Area
Concerning the latest Iranian bombardments of the
border areas of Kurdistan region, particularly
Choman district and Haji Omaran area, an Iraqi
government delegation visited Weze village in Choman
district and the refugees in Haji Omaran area.
The delegation, headed by Dr. Abdul Samad Rahman the
Iraqi Minister of Refugees Affairs, included Iraqi
deputy Minster of health, Dr. Farhad Niemallah
Hussein, head of Iraqi Council of Ministers divan
and member of high committee of the refugee
families. Governor of Erbil city and several
governmental and party officials of the area
escorted the delegation as well.
In a statement Dr. Abdul Samad Rahman as envoy of
Iraqi PM Mr. Nuri al Maliki said that they visited
those areas and decided to compensate the damages.
He also asked the Iranian government to stop
bombarding those border areas of Kurdistan region,
saying that there are no excuses for its shelling.
“I ask the immaterial officials of the area to
register names and damages of refugees of those
areas as soon as possible so that they might be
compensated.” Governor of Erbil exclusively told
PUKmedia on Saturday August 31st.
Dukan-Sulaimaniyah: Press Conference of President
Talabani
Following the opening of the American university in
Dukan summer resort of Sulaimani city, Jalal
Talabani, the Iraqi president held a press
conference on Friday august the 31st .the conference
attended by several senior Iraqi and KRG officials,
and Mr. Ryan Crocker, the US ambassador to Iraq.
During the press conference, first President
Talabani said that the meeting was the meeting of
the American university board in Iraq for
establishing a modern university in Sulaimani city,
and for exchanging views on how to establish and
develop the university.
Answering a question of PUKmedia President Talabani
said that today’s meeting was far away from any
political discussions and was devoted to opening the
American University in Sulaimani (AUI).
Mr. .Barham Ahmed Salih, deputy of Iraqi PM, said
that the meeting was exclusive to discussions on
developing the university and that a specified
amount of money was allocated by the KRG and the
Iraqi President for developing the university.
Answering a question about the speech of Turkish
Chief of General Staff, General Yashar Buyukanit,
and president Talabani said that he has not received
anything from the Medias or any were else, saying if
any accusations were directed to him his Excellency
will respond it.
President Talabani also announced that he will hold
another press conference in the coming days for
discussing the latest political developments of
Iraqi and Kurdistan region.
In answer to a question why KRG until now officially
does not have a formal stance on the latest Iranian
shillings? KRG PM said that their stance was clear
from the beginning of the Iranian bombardment of
border areas of Kurdistan region, which is
condemning it totally.
