Iranian Artillery Shells the Kurdistan Region
Borders
A close source from Haji Omaran border told PUKmedia
that this noon August 31, bombarding the Hajji
Omaran border started again. The Iranian Artillery
is shelling the areas of Bardi Tashi Res, Lofay
Hassan Kuestani, and Warakhate near Hajji Omaran
border. Until publishing this news the bombarding
still persist.
Devoting Two Hospitals to Control the Cholera
Disease
By an order from the Iraqi President Jalal Talabani,
the hospitals of Qalajwalan and Shoresh were
allocated for treating the Cholera disease.
Dr. Mohammed Khoshnaw the manager of Shoresh
hospital announced to our site that “inspite of
devoting our hospital to control the Cholera
disease, Talabani allocated 50.000 US$ for equipping
the two hospitals to eradicate the disease and
prevent its spreading.”

Turkish Chief of General Staff, General Yaşar
Buyukanit, during press conference marking the 85th
anniversary of the final battle in the 1922 Turkish
War of Independence said: “PUKmedia is a terrorist
site.”
Buyukanit was saying those words as a response of
the statement by pro- Kurdish DTP party, which is a
permitted party inside the Turkish parliament .The
statement states that the Turkish army used chemical
weapons against PKK.
PUK media belongs to the Patriotic Union of
Kurdistan headed by Jalal Talabani, a Kurd, the
current Iraqi president.
President Talabani to Remain in Sulaimaniyah
A close source from President Talabani announced to
our site that his Excellency decided to remain in
al-Sulaimaniyah city until further notice to
supervise directly on the Cholera disease
improvement in al-Sulaimaniyah, Kirkuk and
Raniya.The source hasn’t mentioned the period of
President Talabani’s residence in Sulaimaniyah, but
he said that his Excellency will remain until the
elimination of the disease. Dr. Barham Ahmed Salih
the PM Deputy will remain with President Talabani
for the same purpose, as the source added.
President Talabani Allocated 150.000 US$ for
Containing Cholera
Iraqi President Jalal Talabani discussed today with
Dr. Zaryan Othman the KRG minister of Health, WHO
representative in Kurdistan and Dr. Sherko Abdullah
the manager of al-Sulaimaniyah health in Dukan the
ways for containing the Cholera disease in
al-Sulaimaniyah and Kirkuk cities treating the
affected ones. President Talabani called the
concerned authorities to do their best for
eliminating this disease, also he called the Medias
to play a significant role for cautioning people how
to protect themselves from this disease.President
Talabani has allocated 100.000 US$ for Kirkuk and
50.000US$ for al-Sulaimaniyah cities.
