Iran Formally Ordered Border Villagers to Evacuate their places as soon as possible

Iranian Islamic government formally published announcement and asked villagers in Pishdar and Haji Omaran to evacuate their places.
This is a Part of the announcement: “Americans and Iran’s enemies motivated people for tensing Iran’s security. We were your shelter during Baths Regime and now for your safety we ask you to evacuate your places because the operation of attacks against our enemies are
very soon.”

Delegation from Iraqi Border Guards and MNF Visit Kurdistan Region

A delegation from the Iraqi border guards and the Multy-national forces visited Kurdistan region headed by Muhisn Lazim, commander of the Iraqi Border Guards, on Tuesday August the 21st to examine situations of Iraqi and Kurdistan regions border areas, particularly border areas along with Iran and Turkey. The delegation includes brigadier Wrsinski, Mosul area commander, and brigadier Yarbru director of cooperation and support, and several officers of the Iraqi border guards. The delegation was received by Ahmed Fazladin Naqshbandi, commander of 1st territory of the border guards. During a meeting, head of the delegation appreciated the MNF for their support to the Iraqi border guards, saying that capacity of their forces, as a result, mainly witnessed progress as compared to a year ago. He also indicated to the recent bombardment of the Iranian artillery and said that they get daily reports on the shelling, saying that the purpose of their visit to Kurdistan region is for being aware of the military report and information on the territory, so that they can inform the Iraqi political leadership on consequences of the bombardments and so that they can decide on their stance on the issue.

Barzani Meets Cuchner

Massoud Barzani, president of Kurdistan region met with Bernard Cuchner .FM of France on yesterday in Baghdad.
During a meeting the latest changes of the political process in the federal Iraq and the recent agreement between the political parties in frame work of rescuing the country from the recent political crises were discussed. The bilateral ties between the federal Iraq and France and how to reinforce them were also discussed.

The meeting of PUK and KDP Polit-Bureaus

The Polit-Bureaus of PUK and KDP headed by Iraqi President Jalal Talabani and Maseud Barzani, KRG President will meet today in the Iraqi Capital, Baghdad. “They will discuss the latest political developments in Iraq in the meeting,” Kurdistani Nwe published.

Dr. Raed Fahimi: the Article 140 should be Implemented as soon as Possible

Dr. Raed Fahimi, the head of the Article 140 Committee told Kurdistani Nwe that after he became the head of Article 140 committee, they try to solve those problems hindering the implementation of Article 140. He also said that they have several projects to talk about in the next meeting such as reviewing the first decision from the pervious meeting and setting some plans for solving the problem. Concerning his personal views about Article 140 he said that he wants this Article to be implemented. He also said that they should do their best to implement this Article as soon as possible.

KRG Condemns the Iranian Shelling and Directs a Protest Letter to Tehran

Jamal Abdullah, the Kurdistan Region Government Spokesman told Kurdistani Nwe that KRG condemn the Iranian shelling which caused damage for the civilians. He also said that KRG warned its representatives in Tehran to express their protest about those shelling.

Concerning this, Nazm Omar Dabagh, KRG representative in Tehran told Kurdistani Nwe that KRG expressed their objection to those shelling to Tehran Government formally. He also declared that the Iranian government officials told them that they are not against Kurdistan Region but they are against those militants in the Area.

A Press Conference for Hawar Mulla Muhammad

August 20, Kurdsat Satellite Channel held a press conference for Hawar Mulla Muhammad, the Kurdish Iraqi international player. In the beginning Kamaran Hama Salah the representative of Kurdsat Channel received the Medias and shortly described Hawar.
Then Hawar Mulla Muhammad appreciated the Medias’ participations and opened the question doors for the Medias. In answering the question “Did Iraqi National Football Team anticipate to be a champion of Asian Cup”, he replied “It is right we were not ready for that cup but in the end we ended up in the top.”

KRG Prime Minister Receives the General Commander of the Multi-National Forces

On August 19, Nechirvan Barzani, KRG Prime Minister, in Hawler city received General Nikson, the general commander of the Multi-National forces in Northern Iraq cities.
During the meeting, they discussed Iraqi political process, the security situation in Northern Iraq especially the latest severe attack on the civil Kurdish Ezides, and the other terrorist crimes against Kurds in the other places.They also talked about these efforts for promoting security standards in Northern Iraq. Finally they praised the role of  Peshmarga and security forces in providing peace and security in Kurdistan Region and facing terrorists.

Head of Sulaimaniyah's provincial council resigns (VOI)

Sulaimaniyah, Aug 19, -- Head of Sulaimaniyah's provincial council, Shirzad Hafiz, resigned on Sunday citing reasons related to his limited powers and the absence of a law defining the council's responsibilities, the council's deputy head Kaweh Aziz said.
Aziz did not report whether Hafiz's resignation will be accepted, but indicated that a meeting for the council members will decide on the issue.
Speaking on condition of anonymity, another source from the council said that Hafiz submitted his resignation via email.
Hafiz was assigned to the post of the council's head in 2005. Sulaimaniyah city, the capital city of Iraq's Kurdistan's Sulaimaniyah province, is located 364 northeast of Baghdad.
