Yerevan, -- Armenia doesn’t have an official
stance on formation of independent Kurdistan, RA
Deputy Foreign Minister Arman Kirakossian said in
the Russian-Armenian (Slavonic) University.
"Each nation has the right to live freely and
independently on the land of ancestors and form a
state. However, this should be achieved via peaceful
talks but not by use of force," Mr Kirakossian
underscored.
In 1999, Arman Kirakossian was appointed Ambassador
Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of
Armenia to the United States of America, a position
he held until 2005. In 2001 – 2005, Ambassador
Kirakossian also served as Armenia’s Permanent
Representative to the Organization of American
States.
