Sulaimaniyah, Kurdistan regionm (Iraq), --
Accompanied by his Deputy Prime Minister and several
KRG ministers, Prime Minister Nechirvan Barzani paid
a visit to Sulaymaniya Wednesday. The prime minister
was welcomed by Iraq’s First Lady Hero Ibrahim
Ahmed.
Prime Minister Barzani opened the Police Training
College in Sulaimaniya. At the ceremony, he
emphasized the supremacy of the law and encouraged
women in their role as police officers.
The KRG interior minister described how the college
has been designed to train officers of the future.
At the PUK politburo, the prime minister was
welcomed by Kurdistan’s Vice President, Kosrat Rasul
and Mala Bakhtyar, a member of the PUK politburo. At
their meeting, they discussed the latest political
events in Kurdistan and Iraq. |
