Erbil, Kurdistan region (Iraq), April 19,--
Iraq's Kurdistan President Massoud Barzani headed on
Thursday for Italy to participate in Democrats
conference, according to a statement by Kurdish
presidency office.
"In response to an official invitation to
participate in Democrats conference, Iraq's
Kurdistan President Massoud Barzani bounded for the
Italian capital Rome on Thursday to start a
multi-leg tour that will take him also to a number
of European countries,"
The visit is the second for Barzani to Italy in his
capacity as Kurdistan's president as he visited the
European country last summer along with Britain and
U.S..
