South Korea to build new library in
Kurdistan Region's capital

Erbil, Kurdistan region (Iraq), -- Nawzad
Hadi, the Governor of the Erbil, and a
representative of the Governor of South Korea’s
Gyeonggi province, announced at a press conference
yesterday that South Korea plans to build a library
in Erbil, the Kurdistan Region's capital.
A representative of the Zaytun Division (the South
Korean military forces in the Kurdistan Region) said
that South Korea wants to build the library so that
it will be remembered by the people of the Kurdistan
Region. 30,000 square metres have been allocated for
the new library, which will cost 4 million US
dollars to build.
At the meeting were the Head of Civilian Services of
the Zaytun Division, South Korea’s Head of library
services, other representatives from South Korea,
and several Kurdistan Regional Government officials.
