Ankara-Hawler relations based on what? 18.2.2007

February 18, 2007

What do we have to offer to the Turkish government to be happy and have some relations with south Kurdistan while we constantly teach their citizens to rise against them and ask them to give them back our country, Kurdistan which they dread?

The PKK fighters probably? Can we afford that? Is there anyone who will keep PUK and KDP accountable for such a treason if they go for it for the sake of southen Kurdistan's future?

But are the Turks so naive to let south Kurdistan blossom and accept the handover of PKK fighters anyways? Will they not be clever enough to think, hey we are getting a bunch but losing 20 Million in future?

What is the basis of this MIRACULOUS relationship between those who deny every right of the Kurds, who deny the existence of even our language? What happened suddenly that made Ankara be desperate to talk to Hawler?

I think there is a smoke and I am so much surprised that I dont have a clue as to why the Turks would be fighting over "how they should talk to the KRG"? Whether through army or political channels, I was reading in awene.com that there was even a schedule for Erdogan and PM Barzani to meet in the Third Country but it didnt happen and it is supposed to be happening sometime this week!!

There must be some lucrative transaction that I dont know about, there must be some deals done between the two which have softened everybody's language and it was not just coincidence that KDP didnt allow PCDK just like the Iranian governement did yesterday to commemorate the international plot against the Kurdish leader, Ocalan to be handed over to the ruthless Turkish security forces.

Let me try and come up with some bullet points which might be discussed in an imaginary meeting between the Kurdish PM and the Turkish counterpart:

1. Kirkuk Oil must only be sold through Jeyhan port

2. PKK should be dissolved forever and their fighters either settle in KRG or can go back to Turkey, as we have to convince
the EU that we are a proper candidate

3. All imports should be done using Ibrahim Khalil - Khabur border

4. My mind is too tired for these mouthful points so I should just stop and go to bed for now... and read much more to get
these stuff....
