Sharjah, UAE, -- The Planning Minister of the
Kurdistan Regional Government in Iraq and Deputy
Minister of Industry in Iraq visit Hamriyah Free
Zone.
The Planning Minister of the Kurdistan Regional
Government of Iraq, HE Othman Shwani, and Deputy
Minister of Industry of Iraq,www.ekurd.net
HE Adel Ahmed, together
inspected the facilities under construction in the
Hamriyah Free Zone in Sharjah.
The construction is for the implementation by Dana
Gas and Crescent Petroleum in their major joint gas
project in the Kurdistan Autonomous Region in
'northern Iraq'.
The project is over 65% complete and expected to
commence operations early next year.
The visiting Iraqi officials also met with HE Sheikh
Khaled bin Abdullah Al-Qasimi, Chairman of the
Hamriyah Free Zone, and undertook a tour of oil &
gas facilities in the Emirate of Sharjah. |
