OSLO, -- DNO said its operations in Kurdistan
'northern Iraq' have to date been unaffected by
unrest between Turkey and Iraq's autonomous
Kurdistan government.
'Neither the past nor the recent geopolitical events
in the region have to date affected any of DNO's
operations,' the Norwegian oil company said in a
statement.
DNO also reported third quarter oil production data
which showed average daily output of 19,685 barrels
and an achieved price of 58.10 USD per barrel. www.ekurd.net
It said output fell in September because its
Nabrajah field in Yemen was shut down for three days
and produced at reduced rates for seven in September
due to repair on the flare stack.
The well will be shut in for part of October for the
acquisition of reservoir data before being brought
back on stream permanently. |

Shares in DNO fell sharply early yesterday amid
concerns over its Northern Iraq production after
Turkey's parliament voted to allow the country's
troops to enter Iraq to crack down on Turkish Kurd
rebels based there.
The stock largely recovered to end the day 0.44 nkr
lower at 10.65.
