The Conspiracy Agreement Made Between The Iraqi And Turkish Internal Ministers...  1.10.2007
By Dana Berzinjy - eKurd.net contributing writer

The Conspiracy Agreement Made Between The Iraqi And Turkish Internal Ministers to attack the Kurdish Workers Party (PKK) Strongholds were Illegal and Invalid by The Kurdish Nation And The Kurdistan Regional Government.

October 1, 2007

Sydney, Dana Berzinjy, (eKurd.net), -- The Iraqi Internal minister Jawad al-Bolani has arrived in Ankara the capital of Turkey on 25th September 2007 to sign a deal with the Turkish Interior Minister Besir Atalay, in order to crack down the Kurdish Freedom Fighters strongholds as known by the (PKK). The Turkish Internal Minister as usual discussed with his counterpart the Iraqi Internal minister as he arrived for talks in Turkey about Turkish concerns over the Kurdish freedom fighters held up in bases in Iraq.

Dana Berzinjy
I believe such an agreement between the two ministers is useless, and nonsense they can not decide on the Kurdish future without having any Kurdish representatives from the Kurdish Regional Government or any Kurdish parties that represents the Kurdish nation in Turkey. I want to know who is that Iraqi minister that plays with fire in regard to Kurdish rights in North of Kurdistan, without having respect for the Kurdish citizens in Turkey. The Kurdish question is a Turkish internal political problem, and has to be solved by the Turkish government and the Kurdish representatives in Turkey.

The government of Iraq's Kurdish autonomous region officially has announced on Thursday 27th September 2007, from Erbil the capital of Kurdistan that they will not allow any security treaty preserved by Iraq and Turkey without its permission, to allow Turkish Army to make incursions into Kurdistan 'northern Iraqi' territories to look for Kurdish PKK fighters working from the area.
The Kurdish question that has been going on for centuries can not be solved by two outsiders and two ministers. This is about the rights and the freedom of the Kurds. This is about a country that had been occupied by the occupiers by the Turkish dictatorship. This is about Kurdish rights that have been denied for so long by the Turks who originally came from China, and they have no rights to deny the existence of a nation, that have been living there thousands years before their existence in the region.

The Kurdish nation in Turkey had been genocide in their lands, cities and their villages. Many times for instance in 1915, 1920, 1930-1938 and even recently in 1990, thousands of Kurdish villages have been destroyed, and millions of Kurdish villagers were removed forcibly in their places. Thousands of Kurdish innocent civilians were captured, tortured and children were shot and many women were raped. The current prisons in Turkey are full of innocent Kurdish politicians’ women and men.

This stubborn enemy is not just against Kurds, but also they are against Armenians, Assyrians, Greeks and Jewish people. The current Turkish government should apologies for the crimes committed against the Kurds, and against the other nationalities in Turkey. Turkey has not granted the Kurdish people a simple right such as freedom of speech and the right to use the Kurdish language in the education system.
The entire Turkish government should be brought to justice before International Court, like the Iraqi executed dictator Saddam Hussein, and the former Yugoslavian dictator Milosevic, for the crimes they committed against humanity.

Turkey and Iraq have agreed to sign a counterterrorism agreement to attack on the Kurdish PKK freedom fighters held up in the bases of the edge mountains of the Kurdistan region 'northern Iraq', officials said Wednesday, 26th September 2007.
The deal requires Turkish Army to get permission from the Iraqi authorization to cross into Iraq, for small operations to pursue the Kurdish freedom fighters, as NTV television reported the news, citing unnamed Iraqi and Turkish sources.

The deal was reached during a trip by Iraqi Interior Minister Jawad al-Bolani, who arrived in Ankara on Tuesday for talks on Turkish concerns over the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK), launching attacks against targets in Turkey from bases in northern Iraq. I would like to say that the Turkish internal minister is not telling the truth, and he is mistaken that the attacks were launched within the cities, country towns and villages of Turkey. Because the freedom fighters have not got long missiles to be launched from the mountains of Kurdistan to target the Turkish army bases in Kurdistan. Only the Turkish Army targets their missiles against the Kurdish villagers in both sides of the borders.

The Kurdish fighters have got simple and very basic arms to defend themselves, not like the Turkish Army, they use the latest American F16 airplanes, tanks and artillery against the targets, and the villages in Kurdistan. I believe the Turkish Army, and the government have not got the language of dialogue and peace except the language of threat, and getting into illegal agreement with oppressed neighbors to crack down innocent people and jeopardize the Kurdish democracy in Kurdistan of Iraq (South of Kurdistan). Is it not shame on the Turkish government to get into a deal in order to prohibit freedom and democracy to be spread, which is the voice of people? You have given every right to Turkish people but your government excluded other minority groups from a simple right.

All the Turkish governments in the past and now have committed crimes against all the minority groups, and for how long more will your government expect theses nations to keep quiet with out speaking out for their rights. Your country has 400 companies in (South Kurdistan) which you gain more than $400 million US dollars benefit from the business agreement with the Kurdistan Regional Government, (KRG). Is it not better for the Turkish government to shut up or to put up with its own problems?

I think strongly the treaty that has been done illegally, by the Iraqi internal minister, Jawad al-Bolani was not his duty to perform; his duty is to look after the safety of his Iraqi citizens within Iraq, and to look after Iraqi police forces. I believe the external matters are the duty of foreign minister Mr. Hoshyar Zebari. In addition to that, these kinds of agreements, and protocols such as using Iraqi Military forces is the duty of the Defense Minister, not the function of the internal minister to do things beyond his own and official power. If this is the case, who has given power to the Iraqi internal minister to play such a dirty role?

Did the Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki give him the power to sign such an agreement on behalf of him, or is he just another Iraqi dictator that does things without the authority of the Iraqi government, or does he just follow the foot prints of the former Iraqi dictator? Does the Iraqi internal minister know his duty well, or he is just abusing the power of the Iraqi people? The Turkish government has been asking the Turkish Parliament for years, in order to receive permission to cross the boarder in to the Iraqi Kurdistan to chase the Kurdish guerillas. How come the Iraqi internal minister, can get into an agreement without the power, and the permission of the Iraqi parliament, and the Iraqi ministers, or he must be another traitor who works for the Turkish government as a spy, like the former Iraqi Prime Minister (Mr. Al-Jaffary), at the result of his illegitimate action and his mistake, he was forced to resign from his position as an Iraqi Prime Minister.
I strongly believe the fate of the internal Iraqi minister should be exactly like the former Iraqi Prime Minister, because he does not deserve to hold that position and he is dishonest in his post.

Turkey has long been pressing Iraq for a counterterrorism deal to attack on the PKK freedom fighters, and has threatened to use a military invasion into Iraqi Kurdistan to wipe out the revolt bases in the Qandil Mountains. But the Turkish forces have attacked the guerrillas’ bases within Turkey and outside of Turkey, but they failed, and defeated in their action against the wishes of the Kurdish nation. Turkey is home to over 25 million ethnic Kurds. The Kurdish Workers Party, the (PKK) took up arms for self-rule in the country's mainly Kurdish southeast of Turkey. The PKK is considered a right group by the Kurdish nation.

According to the NTV television, citing Iraqi sources, said that under the agreement, Turkey would ask for Iraqi permission for future operations, for cross border military offensives intended to attack and kill PKK armed fighters. The Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki during his trip to Ankara in August, Turkey and Iraq decided to aim to wipe out the Kurdish freedom fighters. But al-Maliki mentioned that the Iraqi parliament would have the last say on this decision, in order to bring to an end the guerrillas' cross border attacks into Turkey. At a meeting with Turkish foreign minister Ali Babacan in New York on Tuesday, Iraqi foreign minister Hoshyar Zebari had warned that “there would be problems about such a treaty unless it is studied carefully”.

Kurds are not acknowledged as an official minority in Turkey and are left without rights granted to them and the other minority ethnic groups. Lately EU put pressure on Turkey to give Kurds restricted rights for broadcasts and teaching in the Kurdish language, but these grants do not go far enough and the measures are very narrow.

The Turkish racist government does not allow the term of Kurdistan to be used dynamically unwanted due to its alleged political implications by the Republic of Turkey, which does not believe the existence of a Kurdish nation and its homeland in Southeast Turkey, due to racist behavior and abusing the rights of the Kurds and the other nationalities. I believe the Turkish government is the same as the former Nazi Government in the past and its leaders are like Hitler. I will condemn this betrayed it bilateral treaty against the Kurdish nation along with other treaties that formed secretly between the Turkish, and the Iranian governments in order to allow their armies to shell the Iraqi Kurdish villages on the regular bases as we have seen it recently in both sides. In addition, I urge the Kurdish nation to rise against their tyrants’ oppressors by joining into peaceful demonstrations in cooperation with other nationalities for instance Armenians, Assyrians, Jews and Greeks to topple the tyrants.

The Kurdish population has been estimated over 40 million Kurds live in the Great Kurdistan (GK), Iraq, Turkey, Syria, Iran, Armenia, more than half of the Kurdish population which is 25 million live in Turkey. The Turkish government situated brutal restrictions on the use of the Kurdish language, leaving out the language in education and broadcast media. The Kurdish flag is forbidden in Iran, Syria, and Turkey, where flying it is an illegal offence.
