(Aso)
A PKK official has told Aso that Turkey is planning
to attack its bases in Qandil and has asked
civilians to evacuate the area. Azad Wasu Hassan,
the head of Zharawa town, said the PKK had on
several occasions spread such news and frightened
people, "We don't say there is no danger, but the
PKK want to entrench themselves in this area.
" Two wings of the PKK have urged the Kurdish people
and their political parties to take a stand against
Turkish and Iranian artillery shelling Iraqi Kurdish
border areas.
