During the panel discussion, Dr. Zeki Fattah, the KRG’s economic advisor, set out the Kurdistan Region’s new investment law and the prospects for oil exploration.

Also Dr Anwar Abdullah, the KRG’s sustainable development advisor, described the government’s strategy for transforming Kurdistan’s agriculture into a highly productive and sustainable sector of the economy.

The Kurdistan Region’s official participation in the forum was represented by its flag, which was displayed both inside and outside the building where the panel was held.

During the Forum the KRG delegates held a meeting with Polish business people interested in economic cooperation.

Mr Raoof hosted a banquet attended by over 200 participants of the Economic Forum.

The guests tasted traditional Kurdish cuisine, listened to Kurdish music and enjoyed the colourful Kurdish dress worn by the staff.
