12 ,-- South Korean commercial delegation, currently on a visit to
Iraq's Kurdistan region, discussed on Tuesday with businessmen in
Erbil possible investments in Kurdistan region.
"The Korean delegation held today an expanded meeting with Erbil
businessmen to discuss possible Korean investment opportunities in
Kurdistan region," a source at Iraq's Kurdistan prime Minister
office said.
Both President and Prime Minister of Iraq's Kurdistan region
repeatedly demanded South Korea to start investment projects in the
region and the current visit by the Korean delegation was in
response to meet these demands, the source added.
The Korean delegation, composed of businessmen representing
communication and construction companies, arrived on Monday in a
four-day-visit to Erbil. Top |
