7 August, - Iraq (KRG) – Within the rights set out in the Iraqi
constitution, the Kurdistan Regional Government today circulated for
discussion the first draft of a new proposed petroleum law.
The proposed law covers anti-corruption provisions, conduct of
petroleum operations, local participation, resolution of disputes
and penalty provisions. The draft law is supported by a proposed
model production sharing agreement.
KRG Spokesman Khaled Salih’s office would like to draw your
attention to the following draft documents, for discussion purposes.
