Kurdistan-Iraq,-- One of the
crucial and most important steps that have been made by Kurdistan
Regional Government toward modernization lately is the signing of a
contract with the giant American Microsoft computers company.
The Kurdistan regional government Prime Minister Nechirvan Barzani
said, "Today in Kurdistan, we see a very rapid reconstruction and
development process aided by new technology, so without doubt, we
are in need to expand this technology to further advanced steps to
become part of our daily life," of the development.
Concomitantly, the K.R.G consultant for communication and technology
affairs, Azad Gailany has officially represented the K.R.G in
signing a contract concerning this project directed at advancing the
use of I.T in Kurdistan. The project consists of opening institutes
and learning centers to make students familiar with latest I.T
developments as supported by the Microsoft Company.
The aim is to develop a new modernized education system in
Kurdistan, together with structuring a Kurdish windows system that
would we very helpful for all government establishments to reach to
the level of developed countries,” Our government searches for
strategic partners and provide suitable environments for them to
find a shortcut for renovation of Kurdistan," enthused Gailany of
the project.
