Erbil,
Kurdistan-Iraq, -- Nechirvan Barzani, Prime Minister
of Kurdistan Region has declared the formation of
unified Appeal Court in Kurdistan Region in the
presence of his Deputy, Omer Fattah, and Deputy to
the Speaker of Kurdistan parliament, judges and
officials.
The Prime Minister reiterated that the decision of
this body was signed by the President of Kurdistan
Region which is considered another step of unifying
the institutions of Kurdistan Government.
In accordance with the Constitution, Kurdistan
Region has a full right to posses its authorities.
Also the Prime Minister stressed on the
independency of Judicial system.
The Chief of the Appeal Court, Salah Ya’qoubi vowed
that himself and his colleagues shall work to
prevail law.
