Kurdistani flag caused cancellation of an
interview by Iranian TV channel

Due to the presence of
the Kurdistani flag, the Sahar Iranian TV channel,
citing technical problems, refused to arrange an
interview with Kamal Kirkuki, the deputy of
Kurdistan Parliament Speaker.
In a special interview, the deputy Parliament
Speaker stated that there were never any technical
problems, and that the only reason for the rebuttal
was the presence of the Kurdistani flag, "Because in
my room there was a flag of Kurdistan, they called
them from Tehran to remove the flag…
The problem was not a technical one, but they only
wanted not to display the flag in the interview,"
said the deputy Parliament Speaker.
