Three Peshmerga fighters were killed in
Kirkuk

Kirkuk, Kurdistan-Iraq, June 11, Three Peshmerga
fighters belonging to the Patriotic Alliance of
Kurdistan (PUK party) were killed by gunmen in two
separate attacks in Kirkuk, a police source said
Sunday.
Gunmen attacked a vehicle carrying Kurdish Peshmerga
fighters Saturday night in al-Nasr, killing two of
them and injuring three civilian bystanders. Another
attack in the same neighbourhood left one fighter
dead and injured two others.
In a separate attack on Sunday, a roadside bomb hit
an Iraqi police patrol on the Kirkuk road near
Kalriya Robayda, 50 kilometres south of Kirkuk,
leaving one civilian dead and his car torched.
In Kirkuk, gunmen assassinated a school teacher
Sunday morning as he was leaving his house in the
Orouba district in Kirkuk, a source said.
