South Korea to invest in Sulaimaniyah and
participate in reconstruction

Sulaymaniyah,
Kurdistan-Iraq, June 5, -- Mr. Chung Kinhu the Korean Ambassador to
Iraq arrived today to Sulaimaniyah city at the head of a delegation
to hold talks on participation on the reconstruction of Sulaymaniyah
city.
Dana Ahmed Majid the governor of Sulaymaniyah in a statement to the
media said "Agreement was reached with the Korean delegation and
several Korean companies to participate in the development of
Sulaymaniyah, reconstruction, trade and capital investment in the
city."
He added that "The Korean Ambassador invites a Kurdish delegation
from Sulaymaniyah to visit South Korea in the scope of consolidation
of relations between the two countries."
The governor has submitted a report on the geographical location of
Sulaymaniyah, history and tourist sites. The Korean ambassador was
accompanied on this visit, Consul, military and trade attaches in
the Korean embassy in Baghdad and the south Korean officer in Erbil.
