The average Americans
have become quite a sight, with their eyes glued to
TV watching American Idol, and their iPods stuck in
their ears. They have become just one the many
unfortunate reasons that Iraq may come undone.
It's really amazing how that so many uninformed
people have not a clue as to what is taking place
around them. Yet these same people have such
negative opinions about Iraq and the war against
terrorism. How did that happen?
Americans have allowed themselves to be misinformed.
They all too often can't give an intelligent answer
as to why they are giving up resolute to fight a war
on terror.
Wars are lost because of what happens right here at
home. Al Qaeda and the Taliban have American's
pegged correctly. We are a foolish Neabel Chamberlan
type people, waiting to be appeased and soothed.
What happened to the Americans that knew what it was
like to sacrifice for the war efforts? These
patriotic Americans understood what was needed to
win a battle.
Rosie the Riveter took on jobs working in factories
until loved ones came home after proudly serving
their country. The armed services where held up in
the highest esteem. They protected our families.
Today we try to ban the armed services from
recruiting on our school campuses.
A certain congressman on the left is calling Marines
murderers, before their day in court. For what
reason is he doing this? Take a wild guess.
We all know that terrible things have occurred in
all wars. We also understand that when troops are
found guilty they are punished harshly. However,
they do not represent the hundreds of thousands of
troops serving in Iraq. The people of Iraq
understand this better than many Americans and the
biased press.
"Little Miss Rip Van Winckle America," better wake
up today and stop listening to sound bites from
their local Taliban run Al Jazeera affiliates, such
as ABC, CBS and CNN to name a few.
The old media are nothing more than "The Third
Reich" undermining America. They are the dirty wet
dogs of the far left in this country who do whatever
takes to mess on their own door step. The
progressives seize control by politicizing
everything that is not nailed down, including Jesus
Christ.
Iraq is in trouble today in part because of what is
being done right here at home by the "drive by"
media. Just as they were successful in getting us to
pull out of Vietnam, they are trying to do the same
with Iraq. The media is stealing the victory that is
needed to win the war on terror. We allow them to do
so by listening to their propaganda. The enemy is on
our airwaves. It's not just happening on Air America
radio.

CBS, Fox, CNN and MSNBC. Video aired by Al-Jazeera
ends up on these networks, sometimes within minutes.
The terrorists are aware of this access and use it —

want to reach the American audience and influence

Enough is enough. It's time to understand that Iraq
will fail and fall under the hands of those who are
allowed to be manipulated. The media is helping to
produce Americans that are like sniffling five year
old children. We have become as little ones with
short mind spans. The immature want instant
gratification, and all things accomplished by
yesterday.
The sacrifices that are being made today in Iraq
will be totally unraveled by the appeasing Democrat
Party of cut and run.
If we prematurely pull out, millions upon millions
of innocent Iraqis will die at the hands of
terrorists. We can't allow ourselves to become
uncaring self centered losers. We did that in
Vietnam.
Iraq has a newly elected government of diversity
that represents all the people. They have their own
troops. Many parts of Iraq are experiencing a
booming economy. Kurdistan is a prime example where
people are living the good life. One day all of Iraq
will prosper.

If Israel can fight off the terrorists, why not
Iraq? The people are very grateful that we have
liberated their country. That is the truth. Any
other word is a bold face lie.
Sadly, America the beautiful is becoming stuck on
stupid, as well divided.
We need to go back to the bygone years when
Americans understood that fighting the good fight
was worth it; when we recognized real heroes. We
must not fail ourselves or the people of Iraq. We
simply must just do it. Win!
