U.S. civilian commits suicide for losing
his job in Kurdistan

Erbil, Kurdistan-Iraq, – An American civilian,
who loved in Iraqi Kurdistan, committed suicide in
an Erbil hotel after the U.S. company he worked for
in Kurdistan (Northern Iraq) severed his contract, a
security source said on Wednesday, May 3, 2006
"American David Ernie, who worked for the U.S. Sandy
group in Sulaimaniyah committed suicide on Wednesday
night…by shooting himself in the head,” the source
said.
The source said the American, 45, took his life
because he was forced to return home, adding that
he left a note saying he
loved working in Kurdistan.
