USA supports Kurdistan Workers’ Party to strengthen Israel? 7.4.2006

USA support Kurdistan Worker’s Party (PKK), Governor of Elagiz region Muamer Mushmal is quoted by Turkish Ebm Haber agency as saying at a coordinating session of the provincial council. “Unfortunately, PKK has turned now into instrument, used by the USA in its own interests. Perhaps Washington does it to strengthen Israeli positions,” he stressed.

According to Mushmal, “recently Turkey has been dealing with strong pressure from terrorists, attempts to popularize anti-state ideas, and wishes to turn the country into a sea of blood.” However, believes Mushmal, Turkey may defeat terrorism not only using forceful methods. “Development of democracy, which is bulwark of country’s future, based on unity of the Turkish nation, is our real and permanent guarantor,” stressed the governor.

“Every day some forces in Turkey try to put on agenda the question of existing of two nations in Turkey. We must be vigilant in the question. The nation has only one people. All, who work for the sake of the state, are Turks,” stated Mushmal.
