An exhibition of Kurdish
customs and traditions was inaugurated on April 3rd
in Mellat Park of Boukan, in the Kurdish-dominated
region of West Azarbaijan province (Kurdistan-Iran).
As reported by IRNA, the event aims to introduce the
culture, arts and lifestyles of the ethnic group.
Some 1,400 artistic creations of Osman Rahmanzadeh
are on display at the fair.
The Kurdish artisan has made amazing sculptures of
stone, wood and clay, which depict rural lifestyles,
farming and husbandry tools, housing, clothes,
transport vehicles and various crafts of Iranian
Kurds.
In another part of the fair, some 700 paintings,
pictures, posters and designs are presented which
display ethnic and rural ways of life, wildlife,
tourism draws and historical monuments.
The fair will be open to public until April 20.
