Federation suggestion from "Kurdish
Question in Syria" conference

March 2006, - In the conference named as
"Kurdish Question in Syria", which was made in the
capital city of USA, Washington on 13.March, is
resulted with the opinion, that federation is the
best solution for South West Kurdistan (Northern
Syria).
To a similar conference, which is made in American
Congress, the representatives of Arabic opposition
in Syria, joined.
The conference of "Kurdish Question in Syria", which
was made in Washington, was concluded.
The participants agreed on 12 materials and it was
decided that, next conference will make in the
capital city of Belgium, Brussels, 3 months later.
In the conference, to which the representatives of
Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, and
representatives from other NGO's were joined, the
situation of Kurds in Syria were discussed.
Furthermore, in the Kurdish conference, in which
approximately 40 persons from a lot of European
countries and USA and other representatives from
Syria Kurdish Union Party, Syria Kurdish Freedom
Party, Democratic Union Party (PYD) and El Partî
were took place.
The one of the organiser of the conference Serga
Ebas, who talked to Kurdish web site Amude, said
like this; “A lot of organization and party, which
can not come to here, defined that they support our
conference”.
Among the participants of the conference, names like
Sex Murside Xeznewi, from South West Kurdistan and
Selah Bedredin from South Kurdistan took place.
After the discussions, the opinion that federation
is the best solution for South West Kurdistan
(Northern Syria) was expressed.
To a similar conference, which is made in American
Congress, the representatives of Arabic opposition
in Syria, joined. But, it attracted attention that,
neither of the senators from USA, who said before
that they will join to the conference, didn't
participate to it.
Kurdistan: "South Eastern Turkey" is Northern
Kurdistan. "Western Iran" is Eastern Kurdistan.
"Northern Syria" is Western Kurdistan. "Northern
Iraq" is Southern Kurdistan
